FAQ
* If you don't set a password then all your data will be accessible to anyone who opens WISeID on your device. If you decide to set a password in the future then go to Settings - Change Master Password.
* I forgot my WISeID master password, can WISeKey help me to retrieve my passwords?
No, we cannot. Your password is encrypted and is not stored on your phone. We do not have a copy of it; You cannot access your data from the application without the master password.
* I tried to enter my WISeID master password and failed 10 times, WISeID then told me it wiped the password database. What happened, can I retrieve my passwords?
After 10 failed attempts WISeID will erase the password database. This means that all of your WISeID data and passwords have been deleted from your phone. If you made a backup of your phone, then your database may be restored if you restore this backup (remember not to backup the current state of your phone before restoring the last backup!).
* How to Backup and Restore your WISeID database
1. PURCHASE AND ACTIVATE BACKUP & RESTORE
- Open WISeID
- Open Settings
- Open Premium Features
- Purchase the Backup and Restore feature using your iTunes account (if you have already purchased the "Backup & Restore" feature using your iTunes account then you will NOT be charged again, it will simply enable the feature on the device you are using)
- Once completed, the Premium Features screen should then indicate "Backup & Restore [purchased]"
- Go back to the settings menu, you should see a new button called "Backup & Restore". If you do not see this button, then you may have to quit and re-open the app, or click the "Refresh" button on the bottom of the Backup & Restore screen.
2. LINK YOUR DROPBOX ACCOUNT WITH WISEID
- In the Backup & Restore screen you will see the "link Dropbox account" button. Click on this button.
- If you do not have a Dropbox account then you will be able to create one. It is free. You can also create a Dropbox account by using the link available on the bottom of the "Link Account" screen.
- Once you have created a Dropbox account, it will be automatically linked with WISeID.
- If you already have an account, simply enter your dropbox Email and Password, and then click the "Link" button on the upper right of the Dropbox login screen.
- It should then display "Linking", and if successful the "Backup & Restore" screen options will now be available.
3. BACKUP YOUR DB TO YOUR DROPBOX ACCOUNT
- Open WISeID - Settings screen
- Select the "Backup and Restore" button
- Select the "Backup" button.
- If everything goes well it will indicate "Upload in Progress", and your database of "My Items" will be uploaded to your Dropbox account.
4. RESTORE YOUR DB FROM YOUR DROPBOX ACCOUNT
If you wish to restore your DB to another device, then repeat steps 1 thru 2 on the device on which you wish to restore your items.
- Open WISeID - Settings screen
- Select the "Backup and Restore" button
- Select the "Restore" button.
- It will request restore confirmation, note that restoring erases any info you have in the device to which you are restoring, and replaces it with the contents of the Backup! Click "Yes" to continue with the restore process.
- It will indicate that it is requesting the file from the server, and that the download is in progress.
- If everything goes well it will indicate "Restore Completed".
- The restored backup Master Password will now be the active Master Password.
* Forgot your CertifyID password or User ID? You can retrieve it via the Password Retrieval page.

* How to change my registered email address
You can't change your eregistered email address for now. You need to go to the Digital ID section in order to unregister and then create a new account based on this new email address.
* How can I reach 100% trusted level
- Fulfill ID manually or from Facebook, SIM import +10%
- Adding any of the following items: Membership, Frequent Flyer, Web Site, Email, Social Network with valid access +10% per item for a maximum of 60%.
- Adding verified CertifyID account +30%
That will all add up to 100%
